It is worth resolving before you request quotes, since a barndominium priced as a house-only project and a house-plus-shop project are not comparable numbers.
The utility question follows the same logic and is the one most likely to move an Oklahoma completion date. On acreage, water may be a well, waste is usually septic, and the electrical service may need to travel a meaningful distance to reach the building.
