Because we may receive compensation in connection with estimate requests disclosed to suppliers, we treat that disclosure as a “sale” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state laws, and we provide an opt-out accordingly. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so no disclosure we make is a “share” in the statutory sense.

An opt-out submitted here stops future disclosures of your personal information to suppliers for that purpose. It does not withdraw an estimate request you have already submitted or recall information already disclosed, and it does not stop a supplier that already holds your details from contacting you — ask that supplier directly to stop.

If you opt out and later decide to submit a new estimate request, that new request is your own direction to pass the information in it to suppliers so they can respond to you; it is the only way the request can be answered, and the estimate form says so where you fill it in. Your opt-out is not cancelled by it and continues to apply to everything else, and you can opt out again at any time. If you do not want your information disclosed to suppliers at all, do not submit an estimate request.

Because a browser signal carries no identifier we can match to a past estimate request, submitting the form below with your email address is the reliable way to have an opt-out applied to information you have already given us.

An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf. The agent should use the form above or email us, and provide written permission signed by you; we may also contact you to confirm the authorisation.
